registration and two years free recoveries. After your coverage period has expired,
you pay a $29.95 transaction fee plus shipping (unless your account has been upgraded
to an Enhanced Service plan, in which case there is no recovery fee for 2 or 3 years, depending on your plan). It's also
convenient and there is no cost for finders. They simply take the item to a nearby
StuffBak-approved drop-off center or StuffBak arranges for courier pickup. They
don't have to pack the item or pay for shipping.

- I received a free label. What do I do now?
Apply the label to an item, and then activate the label
on this site. You can also order additional labels
directly from StuffBak to protect all your portables that you carry with you.

- What happens if I lose something?
You don't have to do anything at all. We'll contact you immediately when your items
are found. If you wish, you can also use our website to report your loss or update
the reward.

- Does StuffBak work for businesses?

- Does StuffBak deter theft?
While we mainly facilitate the return of lost items, STUFFBAK labels help deter
theft. Police say that labels reduce "opportunistic" theft, make it harder to resell
stolen goods, and greatly aid in identifying owners of recovered property. Additionally,
StuffBak sells a unique theft deterrent label designed to warn and ward off the
bad guys.

- What does StuffBak's service cost?
StuffBak's provides free lifetime registration for all items and two years free
returns for all retail labels, tags and cases. Recovery and shipping fees (if any)
are determined by your current service level (the service fee never exceeds $29.95).

- Why would someone return my valuable things?
Most finders want to return items, especially if it is convenient, easy, and doesn't
cost them anything. StuffBak makes it easy for people to return things to nearby
drop-off points or we arrange for courier pickup. Our labels feature a toll-free
number and website, and we offer a reward as an incentive.

- What happens when I sell or transfer my StuffBak-labeled
item?
You can transfer the benefit of StuffBak's protection to the new owner (at no cost)
by deleting the label from your account. That will enable the new owner to register
that owner number with their contact information.

- How do I delete a label?
Sign in with your username and password, highlight the label you wish to delete,
and select the delete icon. This will permanently delete the item from your account.

- How do I activate more labels under my account
if I am already a registered customer?
Sign in with your username and password. You will be taken to a list of your activated
labels. To activate more labels, you may click on "Activate a new label" on the
top or the bottom of the screen. Enter the new label number in the field next to
"Owner" on the large label and submit.
You may enter as many new labels as you’d like by clicking on "Activate another
label" under your confirmation. If you would like to look at the full list of labels
in your account, you may click on "View my stuff".

- What kind of labels and tags do you offer?
STUFFBAK labels come in several sizes and types, including adhesive, teslin and

- What kinds of rewards are offered for returning
my items?
StuffBak offers all finders a basic reward of a $20 gift of STUFFBAK ID labels.
This is cost-free to owners.
You may also choose to offer a CASH REWARD.
There are two types of cash rewards available:
- Blanket Cash Reward. You agree to pay this amount when ANY of your labeled
items are returned.
- Per Item Custom Reward. You may post a specific cash reward for any individual
item after you have reported that item lost.
- StuffBak will confirm your cash reward with you at the time of the recovery before
revealing this information to a finder.

- Can I get all my labels with the same Owner
Number?
Each of our labels has its own unique Owner Number. No two labels are the same.
This allows us to identify which item(s) have been lost. You will need to activate
each label individually.

- Some of the letters on the labels look like
numbers. How can I tell the difference?
Because some letters and numbers look similar, our 7-digit labels do not use the
letters 'B', 'D', 'I', 'S' or 'O'. If you are trying to enter any of these letters,
try using a number such as the number '8' instead of the letter 'B' or the number
'0' instead of the letters 'D' or 'O'.

- Where are your drop-off locations?
Our drop-off locations are all UPS Stores. If there is not a UPS Store location
near the finder, StuffBak will arrange for a courier pick up. If the owner is in
the same proximity as the finder, and both parties agree to meet, StuffBak will
facilitate a face-to-face exchange.

- How do I change the description of the item
I have registered?
Sign in to your account, click on the label number, and from that point you can
edit or update any of the information about that item (serial number, description,
etc.).

- I'm a long-time StuffBak customer. Has my protection
changed?
StuffBak will process recoveries for any item registered prior to 6/1/05 for a $14.95
transaction fee. You can eliminate the recovery fee for all registered labels by
upgrading to an Enhanced Service Plan.

- Can you explain the enhanced service plans?
StuffBak labels that you received with another product purchase include basic coverage
($14.95 for recoveries for one year) or extended coverage (free recoveries for one
or two years). Retail labels include 2-year extended coverage (free recoveries for
two years). After your coverage period has expired, the recovery fee becomes $29.95.
At any time you can upgrade your entire account to an enhanced service plan, which
eliminates your recovery fee and provides priority service and permanent shopping
discounts.

- How do I upgrade my basic coverage?
The service level for an individual label can be upgraded to Extended coverage for $7.95.
Enhanced Service plans are also available to all registered users, which upgrades the level of
service for all activated labels in your account. This option is now available in the StuffBak
store. Make sure to login with your current username and password to link these new benefits with
your account and take advantage of the 20 - 30% StuffBak store discounts.

- Am I still protected after my coverage expires?
Absolutely. StuffBak will always work diligently to ensure your item is returned
to you quickly and efficiently.

- How do I apply labels?
Make sure the surface area is clean. Don't apply the label to sharp or curved surfaces.
It takes 24 hours for maximum adhesion.

- Can I reuse a label?
No. StuffBak labels are designed for one-time use.

- Does StuffBak work Internationally?
Yes, in much the same way as in the United States. Finders outside North America
contact StuffBak through the website. StuffBak contacts the owner immediately. Depending
on where the owner and the item are, StuffBak arranges the most sensible return
of the item directly to the owner.

- Has my Premium Service coverage changed?
StuffBak will continue to honor all Premium Service benefits through the term. You
may upgrade a Premium Service account to a Platinum or Enterprise level to take
advantage of the additional benefits offered (but the term will be reset according
to the new service plan).

- Will you ship my item for free if I determine where my lost item is on my own?
Free shipping is arranged only when StuffBak’s loss protection and recovery service
is used. We do not provide free shipping if the finder contacts you directly or
if you have determined where the lost item is through your own means. Our primary
service is to connect you with your lost valuables.

- If I am not an upgraded customer, when is the best time to reach StuffBak?
StuffBak's business hours are 8AM - 5PM Mountain Time. Enhanced Service customers will
receive immediate 24/7 email notification regarding found items, including finder's contact
information. Finders are able to report recovered items at anytime by calling StuffBak or via our website.
